Lasers emit a highly concentrated beam of radiation. This phenomenon is based on the theory of induced release of photons. The fundamental parts of a laser system contain an active medium, a pump source, and optical resonators. The active medium is excited by the pump source, causing atoms to transition to higher energy levels. Upon returning to th
